O Moinhos Shopping está localizado em um bairro nobre e o empreendimento se integra ao Sheraton Porto Alegre Hotel, primeiro hotel cinco estrelas de bandeira internacional da cidade. Após uma revitalização em sua arquitetura de interiores, foi necessário um novo sistema de Wayfinding Design para acompanhar a evolução do ambiente.
A nova organização deveria não só orientar o fluxo já existente de pedestres, mas também reforçar circulações pouco utilizadas e simplificar o trânsito no estacionamento. Outro aspecto indispensável era um suporte bilíngue (português e inglês) aos clientes internacionais do hotel.
Nossa solução foi discreta: enquanto os materiais trabalharam o contraste do fosco com o brilho, a informação o fez com preto e branco. A nova família de pictogramas reforçou a linguagem universal e minimalista do shopping.

Moinhos Shopping is a mall located in an upscale neighborhood and integrated with the Sheraton Porto Alegre, the city’s first five star international hotel. After an interior rehabilitation, a new Wayfinding system was called for to update the environment.
An organizational system should not only guide the existing pedestrian flow, but also enhance foot traffic in underutilized areas and simplify parking circulation. In Moinhos Shopping, another essential aspect was bilingual support (Portuguese and English) for the hotel’s international guests.
Our solution was discreet. While the materials contrast matte with sheen, the information does also in black and white. A new family of pictograms reinforce the universal and minimal language of this premium shopping center.
